Your First Session

Before your first session, you’ll complete a brief form as part of the booking process. This form gives you the opportunity to share a little about yourself—what has brought you to therapy, and any relevant medical history. There’s no pressure to disclose anything that feels too personal or uncomfortable—what you choose to share is entirely up to you. The purpose of this form is simply to help me gain a clearer understanding of your circumstances and an idea of what you hope to achieve through therapy.

In your first session, we will start by discussing your goals for therapy and any initial thoughts, concerns, or questions you may have. This is a space where you are encouraged to speak openly and freely, knowing that everything you share is met with care, respect, and confidentiality.

My role is to listen attentively to your concerns while gently exploring the underlying dynamics that may be contributing to your difficulties. Together, we aim to uncover greater awareness of your experiences, identifying the areas that feel stuck, unresolved, or frustrating.

The first session is not about pressure or expectation—it’s about building a foundation of trust and understanding.
